Beseeching lead vocal, backed by the Tim Whitsett Band adding a wonderful trumpet break, decorated with a shrill girl-group chorus. Rare killer cut that hovers somewhere between doo wop and rockabilly and a Northern Soul floor filler. The result is an infectious, dance groove.
