| The Johnny Average Band (Johnny Average's real name was Mick Hodgkinson, a keyboardist) was actually a studio creation of Mick Ronson (best known as one of David Bowie’s guitarists). Nikki Willis was Hodgkinson’s wife. The band was a product of Ronson’s time spent at the Bearsville studios in Woodstock.
