Billy Ocean : LICENCE TO CHILL (7" VERSION)

Released in 1989, "Greatest Hits," Billy Ocean's first compilation album, featured Billy's biggest singles of the decade, along with two previously unreleased cuts, I SLEEP MUCH BETTER (IN SOMEONE ELSE'S BED) and LICENSE TO CHILL.

It's very likely that Billy, at this point, had saturated the market with his Caribbean-inflected stylings, and LICENCE TO CHILL became his twelfth and final US top 40 hits, peaking at number 32.
