Promo Pressings

Promotional pressing are usually pressed in quantities of only a few thousand per title.

Usually with a white label, copies may also contain biographies or pictures of the musical artists and the vinyl used is often a higher quality (and lasts longer) than that used in consumer pressings. On rare occasions, the mix used in promo pressings is different than the mix ultimately released to consumers.

Promo were distributed to journalists, music distributors or radio stations in order to assess consumer opinion.
