Chuck Jackson and Maxine Brown are two of the most beloved artists in '60s soul music, synonymous with quality and distinction throughout all phases of their extensive careers. Their recordings for Wand are the most treasured by collectors.

Wand was a division of Scepter Records, founded in 1961 by Florence Greenberg. Florence was one of the very few women to establish and own a major independent label in the 1960s.
