Lou Reed : NO MONEY DOWN

For Lou Reed’s NO MONEY DOWN, Eddie Martinez provided the funky guitar. Martinez had played on Run-DMC's ROCK BOX and KING OF ROCK. Rick Bell, a member of the Michael Stanley Band, played the saxophone. Rick had also played on Peter Gabriel's tracks.

The music video was filmed in England and directed by Godley & Creme (of 10cc). It features a simple animatronic version of Lou miming along to the song. During the final verse, gloved human hands tear away its wig, sunglasses, and rubber skin to expose the skeleton beneath.
