Poco : SHOOT FOR THE MOON

Brimming with four–part harmonies, SHOOT FOR THE MOON is a 1982 song written by Rusty Young. It was the second of three Poco singles released from their Ghost Town LP, and the bigger hit of the two which reached the charts. By 1982, Poco was on a down hill slide. Trying, unsuccessfully, to adapt to the changing sound of '80s pop, the group lost its recording contract with Atlantic in 1983.
