The second single from Sheena Easton's ninth studio album The Lover in Me, 101 was written by Prince, using his pseudonym Joey Coco, and produced by His Royal Badness as well. It went to number two on the US Dance Club Songs charts. Prince ended up writing four hit songs for Sheena.



Prince also penned hits for other female singers and bands, including Stevie Nicks, The Bangles, Madonna, Sinead O’Conner, Chaka Kahn, Celine Dion, and Alicia Keys.
