Born in New Orleans, Nino was the son of comedian Candy Candido. As an actor, he got his start as fraternity brother to Ricky Nelson on “The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet.” He went on to appear on “Leave it To Beaver,” “Hank,” “Hud,” “The Time Tunnel,” “The Andersonville Trial,” “Mod Squad,” “The Tony Randall Show” and “Patton.”
