Collection: Promo Pressings

Promotional pressings were distributed to journalists, music distributors and radio stations in order to assess consumer opinion.

Often with a white label, copies may also contain biographies or pictures of the musical artists and the vinyl used is a higher quality than that used in consumer pressings. On rare occasions, the mix used in promo pressings is different than the mix ultimately released to consumers (if we know this about a single, it will be noted.)
