In 1980, singer/ songwriter Lamar Thomas recorded this single for MCA Records, who released it on a 7 inch. It went unnoticed.
Thirty years later, this brilliant deep disco production has become a classic rare-groove.
That “official” repressing a few years ago sounds okay, but Lamar's master tapes were destroyed in the 2008 Universal fire, so it was likely pressed from a digital copy.
