Prom (or Promenade) Records was a small independent label with their own studio musicians and contracted talents doing cover versions of the hits of the day.
Prom was affiliated with the Waldorf Music Hall label. And both of these labels evolved into Grand Award, whose sister label, Command Records, is prized by stereo collectors.
