1977.
20th Fox Records started in 1958 as a subsidiary of film studio 20th Century Fox. In 1963, the name was changed to 20th Century Fox Records. With only 4 top 50 hits out of over 700 singles issued from 1958 to 1970, the label was pretty unsuccessful. In 1972, the label was revived as 20th Century Records and again as 20th Century Fox Records in 1978.
