Baby Grand is often lumped together, musically, with Steely Dan, Todd Rungren, and early Ambrosia. Bassist Carmine Rojas went on to play with David Bowie. Eric Bazilian and Rob Hyman formed The Hooters and recycled a few Baby Grand songs for Patty Smyth.
