Guitarist/Vocalist Matt Neth and bassist Bryan Ray formed Black Market Flowers in San Francisco in 1991 and soon moved to Los Angeles, where they found drummer Heath Patterson. After a year of playing their melodic brand of grunge on the club circuit, the band was signed to Relativity, and released this as their debut.
